Conocimiento de Primeros Auxilios en Cuidadores de Menores de Cinco Años que Acuden al Centro De Salud.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre primeros auxilios en cuidadores de menores de cinco años que acuden a un centro de salud durante el año 2025. Se desarrolló una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño observacional, descriptivo y de corte transversal, con una muestra de 161 participantes seleccionados mediante muestreo aleatorio simple. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante una encuesta semiestructurada que incluyó variables sociodemográficas, antecedentes de accidentes en el hogar, factores de riesgo y actuación inmediata ante emergencias infantiles. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 74,5 % de los cuidadores presentó un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre primeros auxilios, el 13,7 % nivel medio y el 11,8 % nivel bajo. Las caídas o golpes fueron los accidentes más frecuentes en el hogar, reportados por el 52,8 % de los participantes, seguidos de cortes o heridas y quemaduras. Además, se identificó asociación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y el nivel de instrucción, así como con la ocupación principal. Se concluye que, aunque predominó un conocimiento alto, persisten brechas formativas que requieren intervenciones educativas continuas desde el primer nivel de atención.
